Description And here is a sketched redraw from the scene in TLK2 when Zira is trespassing in the Pridelands. As you can see I've drawn Sarabi and Sarafina coming to protect Kiara. They totally should have at least been seen in the background. I have also changed Simba's colors to the original ones obviously.

oooo this looks great!! yeah i definitely agree, sarafina and sarabi are kiara's grandmothers and should have appeared to protect their one grandkid (grandcub?)! i love how your lines are and i really like the little color changes, makes a big difference

Neat idea, though my headcanon is that Sarabi and Sarafina were killed by the Outsiders, hence they were exiled.

And Simba's prejudice that he projects onto them, i mean, sure, Scar was a murderer, but i doubt Simba would have 'hatred' for them just for being 'supporters' of Scar, but if they truly 'backstabbed' him and got what remains of his 'family' killed, that'd explain a lot, and put a deeper meaning to the 'We Are One' speech at the end. And of course in my headcanon the Outsiders are the descendants of Scar and Sarabi. Double twist.

I love that. Although in my headcanon Zira and some of the outsiders were from a separate pride that helped Scar take over. I do like the idea of Scar and Sarabi having cubs though.

I know right, I think Sarabi was an important enough character in the first one that she could have at least appeared.
