Okay let’s face it, Simba’s Pride had everything going against it. Inexperienced animators, half the budget of the original, and even less time. While these aren’t anybody’s fault and just the carelessness of Disney corporate, there are some voluntary creative decisions that hold this movie back from being charming (cough, it’s WRITING)
And yes there are people who kick and scream about Kopa here’s the thing: Kopa isn’t a Disney creation, it’s somebody else’s. Meaning it’s copyrighted and Disney couldn’t give us Kopa if it wanted.

But enough ‘bout that’s lets get to the redraw. Pretty simple one. Mixed Simba’s and Nala’s ‘fire’ colors from the scene where Simba and the lion pride take on Scar and his hyenas. Gave Kiara Nala’s nose and gradient (super original I know) as well as her ears. I won’t do anymore of these unless you guys request it but its fun to play around with colors and even the style. Remember, there’s always room for improvement.
