This deviation's title is actually super relevant, because I just went through two hours of waiting for my cintiq to stop lagging just so I could put this file on a flash drive to submit via my Windows Surface tablet. Computers hate me so much...

With that out of the way, this lovely Fox-Bacony lady is 's QFTQ dragon-sona Verbati, a type of forest dragon known as a Vularvina. Vularvinas are swift and elusive dragons that live in dense forests and make their way through the thick brush with their keen hearing and ultra-powerful sense of smell. They are among the few herbivorous dragons, living off of roots, bulbs, mushrooms, and other vegetation rather than meat or bugs. They will however, steal eggs if the opportunity arises, as they make up the majority of the protein in their diets. Vularvinas are fast runners and often favor their swift legs over their wings when getting from place to place. When they do fly however, Vularvinas often soar to higher altitudes than most other dragons in order to avoid being spotted by predators. If threatened, a cornered Vularvina will unleash a volley of white-hot fireballs at their enemy, taking care to aim for their eyes. They communicate in a series of grunts and squeaks, occasionally gekkering like real world foxes to show dominance.

Verbati is a young dragoness whom the group comes across on their journey. Knowing the dense forest by heart, she leads her newfound friends through the darkness of the woods, and reappears to help them out throughout their journey, even tagging along with them for a few legs of the trip. She can be a bit shy and flighty, and has a tendency to misinterpret things she hears due to a lack of contact with other dragons, not unlike Ailis. She does whatever she can to help her friends when they are in need, and becomes a vital aid on numerous parts of the group's adventure.
