I totally thought that was dorfl at the top left.
So Nobby must be Agent Coulson, Stan Lee, or that random janitor that talked to Bruce Banner.

Oh. OMG. I just can't. 'Phwoar', 'Incredible Splatter' I just ahhhh. Everything about it. So appropriate, just so spot on. It's beautiful in the most wonderfully derpy kind of way ever. Can't speak. Can barely type. Still having the time of my life.

You know, I'm probably not the first one to say this, but there should be THIS movie in the cinemas. With the same budget as The Avengers. Honestly.

The comment directly below mine pretty much sums up all I can feel about this picture, and the stories that can come of it. Isn't that the fun part of the Discworld? Because of its nature it will never run out of stories as long as someone is there to transcribe them.

As long the armour is made by Leonard of Quirm and not 'Bloody Stupid' Johnson.

Ironhead- A copper who has recently become infected with a demonic force, and requires a suit of armor powered by his own moral strength to prevent his soul's destruction. He is reluctant in submission to anyone, and isn't afraid to admit it.
Captain Ankh-Morpork And Its Supporting Rural Environs- The heir to the throne of Ankh-Morpork, recently rescued from obscurity (and a 70-year magical sleep) by W.A.T.C.H., and now expected to save the world. The wizards have supplied him with a shield of octiron, the magical metal impervious to any and all attacks.
The Incredible Splatter- A troll with severe issues.
Wowhawk- An expert, although somewhat dimwitted, marksman. He is dense enough to think of himself as Ironhead's equal, is terrified of Vetinari, and thinks that just because he works with Blonde Wolf he stands a chance with her.
Blonde Wolf- A secret copper who has been working as part of a special W.A.T.C.H. task force based in Cable Street. She has occasionally been forced to work alongside Wowhawk, and is always somewhat annoyed at his presence. She has feelings to Captain Ankh-Morpork that she refuses to admit, and a nasty genetic surprise for anyone who thinks she's just a defenseless woman...
Phwoar- One of the few openly female dwarfs on Discworld, she possesses a magical axe passed down through generations of secret females. She may be short, but she's got wicked acceleration on the high jump. That axe doesn't fly back to her when she throws it; of course, that's because the axe is currently stuck in some poor fool's head.
You know, when I was watching the invasion scenes in The Avengers, I thought the Chitauri warships very much resembled star turtles. Maybe Wolfgang von Unberwald and Carcer have been resurrected and empowered by the Auditors, who also created the Dark Turtles? And the Tesseract would become the Octavo.
Also, Nobby Nobbs as some kind of pathetic sidekick to Wowhawk OR an incompetent JARVIS. Finally, Drumknott would take over as Phil Coulson.

Help! I've started laughing and I can't stop it!
But really, it's epic awesome. I wonder who Loki would be... Carcer, perchance? And perhaps Nobby can be Giant-Man/Ant-Man (not in films, in comics), even though he's technically tiny. Still, casting so far is just perfect - especially love Carrot as Captain Ankh-Morpork and its Supporting Rural Environs. Well done!

Kate-Kyrillion In reply to LikeAnEagle [2012-05-28 13:56:07 +0000 UTC]
I think maybe their first big villain would have to be Wolfgang and his pack. He's superpowered, has a Hitler-style superiority agenda, is cunning, and has a family connection to one of the team.
You could be right about Nobby, I still have't come up with nything else.
In other news: Sybil is Pepper Potts, Willikins is Jarvis and Drumknott is Maria Hill.

*stares at the last clause of the last sentence for a few seconds, then bursts out laughing*
It makes sense, of course, that Drumknott sits in Maria Hill's position. But it's still rather hilarious to see it put that way.
Wolfgang and his pack would make an excellent foe, although not very Loki-like for the purposes of mirroring the film. But Nobby - what about Nobby as Coulson? He hangs around and fires a Men at Arms-esque enormous weapon, at least...
