I did indeed hear and I was just as shocked as you. Although this does make voting a bit easier, I suppose. I can just vote for Thud!, the obviously better book. I don't know what I would have chosen if it had been NW vs. G!G! I love them both so much.

I'm just plotzing over the news that the book that Terry's working on now is another Vimes book. I was finally getting used to the idea of Vimes becoming a strictly cameo character.

I DIDN'T HEAR THIS NEWS! AHHHH! This is SO exciting! I basically BOUGHT going postal to see Vimes' cameo... was disappointed he didn't speak. Hahahaha, bless, I'm so silly. :) (Smile)

This is brilliant, haha, I'm so thrilled. I do love Tiffany Aching and Moist, but I'm of the opinion that Vimes and the watch are pretty much unbeatable (just look at the discworld cup's semi finals :p (Lick) ) so yay!

But yeah, I was totally weirded out, I literally night watch was his BEST and most popular book. Hmmm..

Yeah, I'll be voting for Thud! as well, it did make it easier for the over-cautious Vimes fangirls.
