I'll try my best to write this critique. So here it goes!
Vision: purly outstanding! Lots of small details that count for any artwork in the realm of comic industries. There is so much detail in this that it seems like a still life moment frozen in time.
Originality: to me this is completely unoriginal. However, this is a new kaiju for fans to fall in love with.
Technique: personally, the technique was done by a master artist. I love the colors used and all of the details. Its beautiful!
Impact: feeling fear of this beast if it were real. Matt Frank you are unbelievable! Keep up the awesome work man! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

It is a truly amazing image as usual. The monster design is very unique and the monster and the orange sky really works. Though I must say that the pose seems a bit over used. My biggest problems are the buildings on her feat. The farm like building and that other strange building are confusing. Another thing is that the claws are inconsistent. I am not sure if that is good or bad. I am glad that you tried to split a difference between too feminine and too non-descript. It is ugly enough (in a good, menacing way) and nasty enough to seem like a monster but doesn't seem too male. It doesn't look like a female human covered in a scaly out fit. Over all, Nemesis is an amazing deviation.

After seeing the official nemesis roll call image, that makes that deviation feel cheap.

As in you copy and pasted the exact same image without the backround.

I always love a giant kaiju destroying the city! Awesome work from Matt as always. I say keep up the good work Matt! the building look great and realistic, and the army is cool too. The monster's originality is amazing! Nemesis is very original because it doesn't look like any other kaiju I know (mainly Godzilla). The detail is great...no it breathtaking! However the color of the monster is a little bland, but not much. The people look very detailed. I never read the book, but this artwork make me want to buy the book! Like I said this art is awesome, and I can't wait for more from matt!

This pic really shows your great talent and your love for for Kaiju films. I don't know we're to begin to say how awesome this is but I'll try to, first off the monster is just incedible!!! It's very well designed. The back rounds are amazing as well, you sure do make a lot of stuff happen in the back round and that ant easy. And also I just love this pic because of how much is going on, you have a giant monster, the people trying to run away, people trying in vain to stop the monster and the buildings coming down, doing all of that can't be a easy job and you pulled it off perfectly.

This pic shows only a fraction of your talents, you not only draw and reredesin Gozilla monsters but also creat your own monsters as well. I'm a huge Kaiju fan myself and I'm glade that there are artist like you to show the awsomes of the Kaiju genra

I just love the amount of detail you have in this piece. especially in the monster; i love how you made it look so incredibly organic and realistic, but it still maintains a somewhat cartoon-esque appearance. i also love how life like all the actions in the background are and all the shading, the lighting, all of it; it just looks absolutely fantastic all in all. this is indeed one of your best works matt. i applaud your amazing talent and hope you go down in history as one of the greatest comic book artists of all time, my friend!

Here are my thoughts about this wonderful art of this picture, although comments are supposed to have 100 or more words which is annoying. Here i go:

COLORS: Very artistic, what surprises me is that explosion around lights up around the background. The buildings are are a good touch, especially one of them with windows all over looked detailed. The monster has great color as well, and the shadow work.

DRAWING: There's got to be lot of lines drawn, probably one pound. I like how the destruction of the buildings that they look like in real life, only in comic book version. The monster has probably the best drawn details of this picture with great work on scales.

MONSTER: Of course this giant monster is the star of this picture. I gotta say this is the monster that I've never seen this kind of all kaiju before. You put a great post and body work.

In my simplest comment on this picture, is that it's one of the legendary art and keep up the great work.

As long it's not heavily altered to appeal to the tweens demographic.

Cause that's what tweens want, giant monsters slaughtering people left and right.

I've seen a 4x3' poster of this in Jeremy Robinson's office, and it's amazing!!! The sequel to PROJECT NEMESIS is out now as an e-book. The new book is called PROJECT MAIGO, and it'll be in print in two weeks. Available now as e-book. More of Matt Frank's luscious art graces the pages, along with a gallery of fan art.

This new book's final battle is THE Kaiju battle of all time. You won't want to miss it.

Yeah, I think you'll like it. Probably a rated R read for language and violence (if that matters) but is a very fast paced, easy to read, action packed giant monster story with a sense of humor. Of course, I'm biased because I wrote the thing.

The monster itself (or is it herself) looks like what would happen if Zetton and Red King do a DBZ style fusion dance. In any case, pretty much a impressive piece, Matt.
