no, I've been focusing on writing; gone a bit astray from my asian passion actually

first of all Knights of Sidonia by Tsutomu Nihei (I simply worship this man ♥)
Vassalord by Nanae Chrono (which is kind of my source of inspiration for my vampire story Crimson Rain)
everything by Ayano Yamane (goddess of yaoi
and Adekan by Tsukiji Nao (missing the most recent volume already...)
oh, and I saw vol13 of Neon Genesis Evangelion will be available this year

well, I'm watching TV shows
some old, some new, mostly for entertainment while I eat dinner
and, since I finished my first story arc now, waiting for my readers to throw me a few new ideas, I started to read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss (it was smiling at me from my bookshelf for a long time already)
it's damn well written and, for once, I hope I'll get to finish it
and yes, the manga series are very good
- Knights of Sidonia is Sci-Fi, Mecha actually, but, made by Nihei, it's a damn intruiging story again
- Vassalord deals with vampires in some kind of near-future scenario, ruled by a corrupt christian church (it's a bit of shonen-ai too)
- Ayano Yamane is just a kickass mangaka. as mentioned she draws yaoi, but she does everything right about this topic. decent storyline, full scale human emotion, hot sex, hilarious humor and beautiful art
- Adekan takes place in the changing Japan at the end of the 19th century; there is a young assassin on the run and a policeman, who decides to take care of him. while the assassin's past catches up with him, both have to solve quite disturbing crimes. the stories are still episodic, but every single of their cases just gives you the creeps. and the art is pure beauty; like every panel is a masterpiece on its own
