Finished! The complete overhaul and rewrite of Episode 9, the Rise of Skywalker. As you see, it’s thorough.
Today’s forecast shows only a slight chance of Reign of Ren xD Sorry, I just had to. I thought that title for a long time during my writing, but it makes the most sense. Prequels ended in Revenge of the Sith, originals in Return of the Jedi, so the sequel trilogy will end in The Reign of Ren. It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of Rise of Skywalker. I told everyone who would listen, if it ends with another super weapon, Kylo redeeming himself and dying, and there’s equivelant of Ewoks at the end, I’ll lose my shit. And what happens, there’s literally Ewoks at the end, 10 000 super weapons, Reylo fan service and Kylo dies. So, you can imagine how much shit I lost! xD So, here’s the FIXED version, free from corporate meddling, free from forced politics, free from toy commercials, free from retcons and pointless bullshit. Not another repeat of Return of the Jedi. I’m not just ending the Skywalker saga, I’m ending thousand generations of Jedi history.
As you can see from the cast, there’s many new faces. All couldn’t fit all, so I put all the biggest characters. I’m not doing concept art for this one. But let’s get to the fan cast. Let’s start from more familiar characters and move to the more obscure. And spoiler warning!
Rey, played by Daisy Ridley (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi). Okay, in this Rey isn’t a Palpatine, she’s just Rey, we already did this in Last Jedi, let’s move on. If she’s a nobody, anybody can be a Jedi. You don’t need special blood to be a Force user. But there are couple of surprises related to Rey, some skeletons in her closet.
Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver (The Last Jedi, The Dead Don’t Die). Kylo Ren, or Ben Solo, now the Supreme Leader. In a mad quest to wipe out the past. I didn’t put any masks on him, because he broke the mask to become his own person, he wants to be SEEN as his own person.
Finn, played by John Boyega (The Last Jedi, Pacific Rim: Uprising). Yeah, Finn got the shaft during this trilogy. When he found the other ex-stormtrooper in TROS and she told that story about them laying down their arms. I was like ”Wait an minute, you deserted and Finn had nothing to do with that either?!”. And why is he still killing brainwashed child soldiers and enjoying it?! (sigh) So, you guessed it, I’m fixing that.
Poe Dameron, played by Oscar Isaac (The Last Jedi, Triple Frontier). Oh, Poe, they turned you a watered down Han. Poe was suppose to become the leader of the Resistance. Leia should be mentoring Rey AND Poe. Poe was never a spice runner, that’s something that JJ Abrams and Chris Terrio pulled out of their asses. So, I’m giving Poe leadership responsibilities.
Rose Tico, played by Kelly Marie Tran (The Last Jedi, The Croods 2). Oh, Rose, you really got the shaft. The fan backlash wasn’t fair and the reduced role in TROS wasn’t either. But don’t worry, I’ve got your back in this one.
Chewbacca, played by Joonas Suotamo (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi). Well, what can you say, it’s the good old Chewie. And yes, Chewbacca and Kylo will meet, they need to meet, and discuss some family matters xD.
C-3PO, played by Anthony Daniels (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi). Goldenrod is back. Okay, he was kinda funny in TROS, especially when he gets his memories back. And he’s as funny or more funnier here, he almost steals the show.
Leia Organa, played by Carrie Fisher (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi). Rest in peace Carrie Fisher. Okay, I don't know what footage they have of her, because they wrote around her, so I'm kinda free from that hassle. Leia has more to say and do in this one.
Armitage Hux, played by Domhnall Gleeson (The Last Jedi, About Time). General Hux returns. I don't like how they treated Hux in TROS. Hux wouldn't betray the First Order just to get back to Kylo, he would ever never help the Resistance. Don't they know his backstory?! He's evil as fuck.
So, I'm restoring the rivalry between Kylo and Hux, Snoke isn't there to keep them apart.
Beaumont Kin, played by Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings, Lost). Okay, here we enter in the more obscure characters, but you did see him in TROS, blink and you miss him, he's the blonde guy below Leia. I didn't think much of him until I read his backstory, and I was WTF?! Why isn't he one of the main characters, he's awesome! So, I'm letting him shine this time.
Jacen Syndulla, played by Tom Hiddleston (Thor, Avengers: Endgame). Son of Hera and Kanan from Rebels, green haired man. I've made my calculations and he should be in his thirties during the sequel trilogy. Because every Syndulla has fought in each war, so Jacen has to be in this one. Tom would play him perfectly.
Tamzey, played by Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth, The End of the Fu***ng world). The other ex-stormtrooper, Jannah, yeah, I'm keeping her, but I'm changing her name, in the story it's revealed why. But Keri Russell gets the boot xD. And this time Finn has more to do with her switching side.
Rotta The Hutt, voiced by Kevin P. Smith (Jay and Silent Bob: Reboot, Clerks). Yes, the fat Hutt slug, that's the son of Jabba The Hutt. We're answering the long time question that fans have had: Where is Rotta The Hutt?! Well, there he is xD He's back with a vengeance xD.
Joruus C'baoth, played by Jeff Bridges (Iron Man, Tron: Legacy). Yes, the Dark Jedi himself is back. The old dude with a beard. If Mara Jade is not around, that would mean that Joruus C'baoth, the mad clone is still ALIVE. Think about it, what was Jeff in Tron, basically a Jedi Master of the digital age xD Think of the gravitas that Jeff would bring in the role of C'baoth! I'm talking about next level shit here xD
Ren, played by Matt Smith (Doctor Who, Morbius). Matt Smith was suppose to play the Son of Mortis, or young Palpatine, I'm not sure what, but he was eventually dropped from the cast of TROS. But no worries, I'm bringing you back, Matt. You can play the horrifying villain called Ren. I already revealed too much, but he somehow survived from Rise of Kylo Ren comic. Let's leave it at that.
Knights of Ren: Ap’lek, Cardo, Kuruk, Trudgen, Ushar and Vicrul. Oh, boy. Remember the lines "Knights of Ren" and "Ghouls", well, that was about everything about the Knights of Ren xD Rest of the TROS movie they just stand around or walk around and got killed by Ben, yeah, that's it. So, now they're actual characters, they speak and they do stuff. We learn about their history and ideology. They're actually a force to be reckoned with. Imagine that! xD
