Blitz grows up in the port-town city of Unova, Driftveil. Being next to the Ocean made her desire to travel spark. Her parents are Pokemon breeders and run their own daycare within Driftveil. Through this work, Blitz ends up spending a lot of time raising Pokemon in driftveil, her personal favorite being Jellicent. However the first pokemon she actually acquires for her team is a Blitze, the irony of the name was too good of an opportunity to pass up. Like most pokemon trainer, she had a goal of acquiring as much of the pokedex as possible and beat the gym leaders. However, she doesn't go on to the champion league to beat the elite 4. With Driftveil being close to Nimbasa, Blitz was also exposed to the urban sides of Unova at an early age, coming to appreciate both the seaside and city. She would often visit Nimbasa City with her cousin, Freya, who Blitz treated like a little sister. They both would practice mock battles when they were a bit older, but mainly visited to enjoy the amusement parks and arcade. It's within the arcade where they come across Bianca. Blitz found her adorable and couldn't resist approaching her.

During her breeding days, Blitz grew an affinity towards electric-type pokemon. It was not until she became aware of Elesa was she inspired to have an all electric team. She first encountered Elesa on route 5, possibly trying to attract trainers to battle her gym. Blitz was drawn in by her charisma and was motivated to beat her gym. She had difficulties during the first few times, and Elesa pitied her so she offered some advice. Once Blitz does beat the electric gym, she seeked temporary mentorship from Elesa because she wanted to be able to have an all electric team like her.

During the rest of her journey to conquering the 8 gyms in Unova, Blitz encounters the Team Plasma grunts several times who tried to take her pokemon for the purpose of giving them "freedom" Blitz was rather more of a negotiator than a fighter, so she would try to talk it out with the grunts, but to no avail it never worked. Blitz wished she could change them but they were too loyal to Ghetsis.

When Blitz is 16, her parents move to Rustboro City in Hoenn, while her cousin and her parents move to Alola. Reason was never solidified, but their reason for moving was most likely to get out of Team Plasma's way, even though they had enjoyed the metropolitan life. Blitz's family moves next door to Nocturne [Pokemon OC] Nocturne and Blitz became excited once she found out there were two kids next door, especially one only 3 years younger than her. She saw how isolated Nocturne was from the outdoors and she couldn't help but reach out to him out of curiosity. She took note that he always had headphones in so she wondered what he was listening to that made him not want to interact with the outside world. When Blitz finds out that Nocturne wasn't that motivated to become a pokemon trainer, she wanted to help him out. She offered herself as a mentor figure and helped Nocturne capture Pokemon and teach him how to battle gyms. It was a fun time for her, because she was exploring new territory with the companionship of someone else.

During the one year of aiding Nocturne, she also does some of her own exploring around Rustboro, coming across a man named Sebastian who was seen in the forest taking field notes. Of course this doesn't help Blitz's curiosity from approaching him. They hit it off really well at first, meeting up with each other when Blitz wasn't helping Nocturne. Eventually, they both felt strong attraction towards each other and began dating. While Sebastian did like Blitz a lot, when the boss of Devon Corps found out he was seeing a woman with an electric-type team, the boss saw this as an opportunity. Devon corp was initially a corporation that mined rocks and smelted sand, but after the industrial revolution in hoenn they switched things up to be more technology based and ended up creating shit that rivals silph co (similar corporation in kanto). They (originally) mainly dealt with products geared towards training pokemon and creating new types of pokeballs. Eventually they start looking into infinity energy to make more products for trainers but after realizing that it can be used to like power whole cities and is very useful, they decide to switch things up a bit in order to make more profits. In order to power new mauville, they would need strong electric-type pokemon, and that's exactly what Blitz had.
