This is the first time I have ever drawn my character Rupert with his robot, which I finally decided to call Steambo. Someone had suggested I call him Steamy, but I personally thought that Steambo sounded cooler. Here Rupert is tightening a loose bolt on him. Heh, Rupert is way before his time.
Anyway, man, have hardly had any time to draw lately, which is why I haven't been posting art as much as I used to. Oh well, at least I can surprise you all with a new drawing here and there.

I recently (like within the past few days) saw an episode of that "Adventures in Odyssey" program and the character Eugene Meltsner made me think of your character, Rupert.

Yeah, I totally remember that cartoon. I used to watch it when I was a kid. Gosh, haven't seen it in a long time though. Forgotten about that character. You're right, they are both pretty similar.
