OK, so it's not exactly finished. But after I took this shot, I tried to detail the dragon and killed it completely. I doubt I'll ever get back to it because I don't think I can fix it, so here's where it's staying.Watercolor 2002

I really like the curve of her neck, her dark eyes, and the lift to her hair.

wow, i love the vibrancy of the red and the way you tempered it with just a little green and pale gold. i've never gotten the hang of watercolors or ink, but in my opinion you use the medium very well. I also like the combination of realistic and surrealistic in the composition -- the solid head against the stretched-out hair, the way that the neck and chest slip away into a snakey sort of squiggle.
