The design is not mine, but I did the henna. The design is from Lezard Cheung's book of henna patterns, "Lezard's First". It is copyright her, of course!!Picture taken with the paste still on. If you're unfamiliar with henna - the paste falls off after it dries, leaving a nice brownish-red stain for a couple of weeks.

I hate to ask this but, is there a way you can can and upload this particular pattern or perhaps find it somewhere online? I'm attempting to google but not finding it >< If I make it to the RenFest this year, I might get this one done...though, looking at other designs too XD

What do you use to apply your henna and get such beautifuly thin lines?? Is it a small tip or just really good skills?

Would have liked to seen the actual tattoo rather than the henna paste stuff, but it still looks pretty cool. Still, I suppose the actual henna does have a nice texture to it. Even if it's not your design, it would take skillful hands to execute such a design.

Is it difficult to draw with henna? My sister used to do that, but then she just grew out of it. It looks very difficult-all those little dots and lines....
