Clearing up some more old photos, trying some new things with filters etc to balance contrast etc. Loving it now I know some more tricks. Had this one sitting around for a while but didn't know what to do with it until now. I'm happy enough with it, it's not perfect but at least it's colourful and interesting.Plus it's a photo of a Dainty Tree frog and they're super cute, especially when they're stuck to the glass!

I love this image. The frog is centered so nicely. You can see the details of him very clearly. I love the details of his eyes and you can see his nostrils very clearly. The background is colorful and blurred which is perfect for this type of image. It is done so well, that I'm not even sure what exactly is back there and there is no need for me to know.
If I were going to change anything about this image, I would take the finger print that is on the glass beside him away. That is distracting to me. A lovely frog though... great work.

Yes, the fingerprint... hmmmm... I only noticed that after I posted the image to DA. I do hate that it is there, it's that annoying niggling little thing which draws away from the main focus, and when I said the photo isn't perfect this is what I meant. However, I don't really like to edit things out of my photos or change the actual image with the exception of contrast changes etc. I figure that's cheating just a little. So unfortunately the fingerprint is part of the image and in my books needs to stay. Maybe next time I'll polish the glass before taking the photo

Yeah, used to get them in Canberra and the south coast of NSW in banana boxes occasionally. It's because they live in the banana plantations and they blend in really well so packers often miss them.
