Description A baby Dainty Tree Frog. At this time the froglet was only about 5mm long so the picture is very much zoomed in. Also it was taken through wet, filmy glass (as frogs have a habit of smearing their dirty little hands all over the glass of their tank). Anyways, I thought this little one was pretty cute and considering how difficult they normally are to see (as they hide ALL of the time) it was a great opportunity to get a snap of the cute little critter. Hope you enjoy!
Taken at Alma Park Zoo, Brisbane
Also this was my first proper play around with my camera so the focus is a bit crappy...

Is it weird I want to lick it? I have seen similar frogs down at Lindsey Park Creek waaaaaay back. I guess it might have been one of these little tinies.

The "crappy" focus you mentioned works well here, because it makes the little guy look very dreamy and not quite real. I love the way he looks like he's just hanging in misty space.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. I'm not 100% happy with the photo for the reasons above but I'm glad you've seen something positive in it. It makes me view the picture in a different light
