Hallowe'en is in two days, you know what that means? Horror movies, candy and everything pumpkin!This is a collab between and myself. He sketched Irene, I painted over her, shaded and made the background. This took me a really long time, maybe about 8 hours in total. I've never tried a background like this before but I love this kind of perspective, so I thought I'd give it a shot! I've also been practicing with drawing my own textures. I'm hoping this turned out okay!
I hope you guys like this, and Happy Hallowe'en! Remember and brush your darn teeth after all that candy, okay?!

I'm so happy you said that!!! I was actually so inspired by the MM artstyle for the background! I just love the odd perspectives they have, how the buildings seem to have a curve and they're very exaggerated with their shapes. Although Irene is from A Link Between Worlds, and I shaded her as best as I could in that style, I wanted the background to hit a little closer to my heart with my all time favourite, MM. Because Hallowe'en is a darker time of year, and MM is a darker kind of game.
