Got a hold of an iPad to do my animation homework on (turns out that animating on paper is tedious and the teacher doesn’t force us to do it) and wanted to mess around in the Procreate app. Friggin awesome app, not as powerful as Corel painter but it’s basically how I used photoshop for digital work and fits in my purse. I managed to catch up on homework for the day and it was really nice to be able to draw something for me. Hopefully being able to do more than notebook doodles while I’m on the go will lead to more work and less inactivity!PS the entire month of October is Halloween stfu

Thank you! I've learned a bit about value and contrast which I'm trying to apply to all my personal stuff going forward, but honestly the textured brush I used did most of the work for this. Med/low opacity, square textured brush, simple 3 tone shading, and a layer over the top of blue with some eraser. It's my patented lazy-shade style, haha
