Stocky Seeing as she is a large, stocky cat, Addergaze has more brawn than agility and therefore usually depends upon maneuvers that require brute strength.
Collected Addergaze is fantastic at keeping her cool during a fight, and often will give commands to her Clanmates.

Loyal || Positive Addergaze's loyalty to her Clan has never faltered, even despite her rocky relations with its individuals.
Strong Leader || Positive Addergaze demonstrates great leadership skills, and fits comfortably into the role of organizing WispClan's day-to-day activities.
Determined || Positive Once she sets her mind to a goal, there is not much that can sway Addergaze from reaching it.
Ambitious || Neutral While her ambition has lead her to becoming a great warrior, it has weakened other areas of her life, namely her social life.
Motherly || Neutral Growing up, Addergaze had never been the most caring of individuals, preferring to work towards the overall goal of WispClan flourishing rather than tending to the individual needs of others. When she became a mother, however, Addergaze started to notice details about others more finitely- rumpled pelts, dragging tails, twitching whiskers; the smaller hints as to the inner machinations of other cats are now clearer to Addergaze, and now she struggles to restrain herself from treading upon the personal business of others- not that she really cares all that much, as it's more an inclination to satisfy her motherly instincts.
Rash || Negative Addergaze is quick to jump to conclusions about situations and, more commonly, other cats- their history, their motives, how they feel; Addergaze views herself as a completely rational being, and therefore can be more of a rashional cat when it comes to social situations, as trust is a feeling she places in few cats.
Ill-Tempered || Negative Due to her grudge-holding and hot-headed natures combining, Addergaze can come across as quite the sour she-cat as it's rather easy to get on her bad side, seeing as she's usually already woken up on it.
Proud || Negative Addergaze's ego is a bit too large for her own good, as she often ends up with a superiority complex about her. She takes pride in her hard work and talents, but this pride often goes right to her head as she treats others like dirt if they don't, in her eyes, match her skill level.

Addergaze grew up under the care of two loving parents, Goldennose and Redback. Goldennose was one of WispClan's greatest hunters, and Redback one of the strongest fighters. Together, they were perfect, and Adderkit aspired to one day be as great as them. Once she became an apprentice, however, her mother fell sick with a disease unknown to the Clans. Determined not to sway her daughter and mate from their duties, Goldennose had the medicine cat keep her sickness a secret from the whole Clan. She slowed in her ability to perform, and the Clan assumed it was due to the exhaustion of having been a queen and her age catching up to her, despite how young she was. It wasn't until she passed away that WispClan learned the truth, and Adderpaw and Redback were crushed with grief. Redback soon retired to the elder's den, trapped in a spiraling case of depression that only seemed to worsen each day. Adderpaw visited him each day, and each day she watched her father slip away until eventually he, too, passed on to StarClan. Both her parents deceased by the time she earned her warrior name, Addergaze refused to ever let anyone in again, for not only did the pain of her loss still grieve her, but she didn't wish to end up as her parents had- hiding their illnesses and slipping away into depression due to their love for one another. She simply couldn't follow in their pawsteps.
Even despite her best efforts to become completely stoic, however, one cat did manage to break through her icy exterior- her first apprentice, Mousepaw. Mousepaw's mother had complications during her pregnancy, causing the kit to be born without a limb, without siblings, and without any strength. With cautious care, Mousepaw was raised into apprenticeship- despite their health problems, they were determined to become a warrior. Solarstar saw this ambition and paired the young cat with an equally-ambitious, newly-made warrior, Addergaze. Addergaze, of course, was honored by his decision, but resented her apprentice at first. She felt she had much more important matters to attend to than a weak child who she figured would soon be living out their days in the elder's den. Mousepaw, however, was determined not to fail their mentor. They went out of their way to impress and befriend Addergaze, and eventually Addergaze's apathetic belittlement turned into loving teasing. Seeing their drive, their ambition, Addergaze realized that her initial assumptions were completely wrong, and soon grew incredibly close to her young apprentice.
Mousepaw always knew that they would have to train harder than their peers just to keep up, and they were fine with that obstacle. Addergaze accepted this truth as well and pushed her apprentice to the limits of their abilities every day, relentless in her training, especially for the tasks that would not come easy to a cat missing a leg- such as climbing. One day, while teaching her apprentice to climb trees, Mousepaw quickly grew apprehensive to the exercise. It was difficult to balance with only three legs, and the further Addergaze pushed them to climb, the more fearful they grew about not being able to get back down. It wasn't normal for Mousepaw to protest, but Addergaze decided to push past Mousepaw's limits anyways. The warrior spotted a squirrel further up in the trees, and demanded that Mousepaw catch it. Mousepaw refused at first, saying it was too far away and that they were already too high up the tree for their own good, but Addergaze persisted, and so Mousepaw took the leap to the next branch- and missed. Blaming herself for pushing Mousepaw too far, young Addergaze refused to ever train an apprentice again after their death. Having lost yet another of the few cats she deeply cared about, Addergaze threw herself into her work instead of confronting her grief, and eventually the gnawing guilt seemed to fade away.
Her hard work as a warrior eventually paid off as Smokestar, upon receiving his nine lives, named Addergaze as his deputy. She quickly fell into stride with her new responsibilities, and even let her feelings get the better of her as her admiration for Smokestar turned to a skip of the heart whenever he spoke to her. These feelings were crushed, however, when she discovered his affair with FoxClan's deputy at the time, Bronzeheart, now Bronzestar. She stumbled upon the two by the thunderpath and, considering the recent, mysterious death of WispClan's previous leader, Solarstar, assumed them to have plotted against WispClan. As Bronzeheart became Bronzestar and time passed, however, Addergaze never revealed their secret for she knew that the scandal could bring about the downfall of WispClan. Despising their secret relationship soon turned to a reluctant acceptance of it, and as she sees the two leading their Clans together she sees that maybe they aren't so bad.
Addergaze next set her sights upon Wildstrike, a loyal and strong warrior of WispClan. She'd always enjoyed his company, and his skills were nearly unmatched by any other warrior- he seemed the perfect candidate until a kittypet joined the Clan to become his mate. While she maintained her friendship with the tom, her respect for him had lowered due to his mate's heritage, and she viewed Myca as a weak link in WispClan's strength. Having now seen the futility of 'crushes' at this point, Addergaze resigned from the more social aspects of Clan life except for to spend time with two trusted friends, Shadeeyes and Dustpatch- when Dustpatch accused her of harboring feelings for Shadeetes, however, the deputy soon found herself tossed into another confusing mess of emotions. Addergaze had never thought much of relationships past the parenting aspect in which two parents were stronger than just one in the aspect of raising WispClan's future, and so the deputy had never thought that feelings would stand in her way. However, Dustpatch's insinuation lead to her almost believing that she did harbor feelings for Shadeeyes- until Dustpatch admitted that he did have feelings for her. Addergaze decided to take some time for herself at this point, having been tossed about far too much for even her stoic self, and she focused on her work within WispClan instead. One of her goals became to understand Myca, but in the process of attempting to speak with the kittypet-born she-cat, Addergaze ended up spending quite a bit of time with her foster kit, Tigerkit. Addergaze had never again wanted to train an apprentice after the death of Mousepaw, but she had grown so fond of the young kit that she eventually decided to train Tigerkit once she was of age. Upon discussing the topic with her friend Dustpatch, she couldn't help but comment on the fact that it would be enjoyable to train an apprentice at the same time as Dustpatch- and, for once, her sentiments weren't a fabricated smile to dissuade her Clanmates from thinking of her as completely cold, but an actual truth. Truly, she had long-since realized that with Dustpatch, nothing was fabricated about her nature. She acted cold and unfeeling towards everyone except for him; with him, she needn't fear his rejection because he always understood her. While she was terrified to let him in, it was clear enough that she'd already developed strong feelings for Dustpatch, and so she asked him to be her mate... and he accepted. They both agreed that they made up one of the strongest teams in all of WispClan, as they both know themselves to be strong warriors- and this theory soon proved to be true as while out hunting, Addergaze stepped onto some thin ice and ended up falling in. Dustpatch dove in after her and they ended up both making it out alright, albeit soaking wet. Glad to have each other, the two headed back to camp before they would freeze over.
Addergaze's hopes of training Tigerkit would soon have to be put on hold as not long after she became mates with Dustpatch, a routine check-up ended up delivering her with some shocking news- she was expecting kits. Addergaze was absolutely terrified, not only because she'd never imagined herself having kits, but because she'd had no idea how Dustpatch would react... When she told him, however, he was thrilled. Relieved, Addergaze rested with him as he helped ease her fears, and as she sat there thinking, she realized that having kits was one of the strongest ways to cement WispClan's future. Addergaze had always been determined to make WispClan the best it could possibly be, and if that meant taking on something completely new and terrifying... as long as she had Dustpatch by her side, Addergaze was willing to take the chance.
That chance ended up being more terrifying than she could've imagined. Six. The two of them had six kits. Naming the first three Goldenkit, after her mother, Redkit, after her father, and Mousekit, after her first apprentice, Dustpatch named their remaining children Sedgekit, Pinekit, and Briarkit. Addergaze had never been one much for kits... But these six kittens were the most beautiful, most precious children she could ever hope for. Watching them grow and helping them along the way, a motherly instinct awakened within Addergaze that caused her to become somewhat gentler with her Clanmates. While she was still callous and demanding, the way she went about these expectations started to become more supportive than demoralizing. Bearing this lesson in mind as her kits near apprenticeship, the deputy now sets her sights to a previous goal of hers- training Tigerpaw.

"What are you doing?" A stern voice sounded from behind the apprentice, and down from the rocks descended none other than the WispClan deputy, Addergaze. The tabby she-cat seemed to be alone, but, considering the sneaky nature of WispClan cats, the apprentice looked about warily for any other shadows that may be lurking about.
"I... I'm lost," the younger cat admittedly sheepishly.
"That was already clear," Addergaze's tone remained serious.
The apprentice gulped- this was going to be a bumpy ride.
