Here's a recent commission where the client requested that I make a dragon sitting on a book and cuddling a black kitten. It's been a while since I sculpted a cat! I always start off making them way too big and then it takes me a few tries to get them down to scale. I really like the dragon's pose, but I wish I'd placed the kitty's eyes a little bit closer together.

On a really minor note, I've changed my books just a little bit in an effort to make them look like they have pages instead of just a solid white block in the center. I think it's a change for the better.

Dragon, cat and book were crafted from colored, oven-bake polymer clay and glass beads.
