Another commission by , here's America! This is the first of the Hetalia dragons where I decided to move away from using the character's uniform as the base color. I didn't feel like making a brown or olive dragon, so I decided to pick a nice contrasting color... and I have always liked that green pearl color. This gave me the chance to put America's bomber jacket on and have it stand out. Light gold horns match his hair color and the darker golden wings match the star on his chest (which you unfortunately can't see very well in this shot).I've made glasses for my dragons before, but this is the first time I've added lenses! Since America's glasses are only half-rimmed, it seemed a bit odd to not include any lenses. I really like how they turned out, though they were pretty fiddly to put together. xD
Crafted from colored polymer clay, glass bugle beads, wire, and plastic. Sealed with a gloss glaze.

Haha, this is based on the character America from the anime/manga series Axis Powers Hetalia, where the various countries of the world have been personified. These are just what the character's glasses look like, I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually wearing glasses with that half-rimmed design.
For the lenses, I just used some thin, clear plastic from a food container.
