Now that the semester's over I have time to draw stuff! Kinda. ...Not really... ;~;

This is an old character of mine named Soul. Like, probably one of my first ones. Back in the day (so like... eight years ago), I couldn't come up with a last name for him so I just made his real name really long (it's Souljishkahaliakarin... I just hit a bunch of keys on the keyboard and memorized it...) and then shortened it to 'Soul'. I thought I was being super creative at the time. I wasn't.

I also thought I was being super creative with his personality (I wasn't). Really long story short, I basically went with the concept that angels have no human feelings or qualities, so Soul uses this as an excuse to be totally merciless and unfeeling to his opponents (or just everyone). He is also blind, deaf, and mute (see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil... yeah...) so he communicates through telepathy. Wings also sprout from the tufts of his hair (he has three sets of wings, so original) and uses a flaming sword to battle, like the biblical seraphim.

I was actually going to make a tutorial out of this picture, but I don't think I am good enough yet for that, ahaha. I always get disappointed when my favorite artists don't have tutorials though, and I don't want to be hypocritical.

I used Paint Tool SAI for this and a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet that my dad decided to use as a coaster and now I can't get this coffee stain off.
