OH MY GOD WHAT YEAR IS IT.(when this song came out I was not quite eight years old... reality check lol)
I am a huge Malice Mizer and Gackt Camui fan and I've been wanting to draw something Malice Mizer related for awhile, so here we go. Maybe I'll draw Tetsu and Klaha this summer as well, I love all three Eras very much and they're so different.
Le Ciel is a beautiful song and I have always loved Gackt's outfit (as well as the other members' outfits!!) from it.
Here's the music video if anyone wants to check it out!! It's very 90s ahahaha.
Gackt's entrance into the music video always struck me as awkward but it's okay because it's Gackt. How he uses his nails to emulate wings is really cool though.

It took me a second to realize what I was looking at. I had already decided I really liked this picture and then bam I read Malice Mizer on the side. I'm like "That's Gackt"!. I love Gackt's music too, Malice Mizer will forever be my favorite band, but I enjoy his solo work as well. He's an amazingly talented musician. I plan on drawing him in some more of his crazy costumes soon!

Malice Mizer songs are not very easy to capture in drawings, their costumes were so extravagant!! Now I just gotta work on that Gakupo drawing. xD

Wow, I really like this song and you've done it so much justice! I used to be obsessed with Le Ciel, but now I don't listen to it as much as the others - I'm not sure why, I just think it sounds too melancholy sometimes...
The picture is so detailed, and I just love how you've drawn Gackt! Plus, that colouring is amazing, omg! *____* His hands look so good, too, and not to mention the layout of the picture!

Thank you so much! Le Ciel is a great song, but I always associate it with the end of the Gackt Era so it's kinda bittersweet for me. Although then Klaha came along so it's all good.
I'm glad you like his hands because I had to redo them several times and I'm still not fully satisfied, haha.

I really love the background, and I especially love his clothes. You shaded them so well~ They look so pretty and comfy and royal *dies* And his shoulderpads are amazing, I just have to tell you that, like right now

Malice Mizer is a great band, and Gackt's solo stuff is awesome as well! Malice Mizer got me into visual-kei too, I started listening to them when I was thirteen which was like ten years ago! I have tons of memories of them too, they will always have a place in my heart hahaha.
