He is known as the Angel of Death, maintaining the lost souls into the judgement. Due to his easygoing nature, he considered Uriel as the closest companion. Unlike Uriel, in the end he defected from the God due to lust of souls and his potent dissatisfaction.

Due to his title, I tried to present that an angel can be somewhat tricky, nearly to human personality. Sariel is ambiguous enough to be one of God's Notable Archangels, sometimes to be mistaken as Metatron. He is interpreted as classy being with long haired man, to be balanced with Uriel.
