This is so cute.. they look like long time friends ^.^ I wish our dogs got along like that... one is kind of old and really mellow, but the other is only two and is always tearing up stuff and all over the place.. Quincy won't give her the time of day

Wow, you've gotten a lot of comments on this one, and I can see why. It's just a gorgeous photo. It's not something one sees every day (presumably). Makes one feel rather relaxed. It's a calming piece, really. Very lovely. Superb gradient of colour, in the sky. Very sharp image, too...

Thanks. I was busy shooting the Fire in the Hole series and just happened to catch the boys watching the same sunset I was shooting. First rule of Landscape photography, put the camera down and look behind you! That will always be the shot that gets away... Thanks for your help on the Fire in the Hole shot. I tried several things and didn't get anything I liked better. I'll try playing with it again tomorrow when my old eyes are better...
