Thank you! no i started out with a sheet of white paper. It just took a lot of charcoal:
i used a blending stick for everything.
after applying charcoal, i used a couple different erasers to draw with - it just takes a lot of patience! it was fun though - this one took about 20 hrs

did you start off with a black background and draw in with white charcoal??? It so good Im addign it to my fave!! could you possbile tell me how you blended it??
