Description X_X this took me something like 40 hours to draw. As with some other pics, it was mostly done during a Graphics class instead of work. It took me FOREVER to draw each of those little beads around her.....

UPDATE !!!! I found the source pic, used 'auto levels' and then greyscaled it. ^^ now its easier to see the detail.
And for LukyLady123, I have the original pic thats twice this size! X3 I'll make it a scrap so you can use it.

You've only gotten a handful of comments/views!!! I'm so envious of this piece!!! It's AMAZING! The detial is so extraordinary too!!!

Do you allow people to use your lineart? I would SO love to give this piece a go at coloring- if your willing!!! Credit will got to you for lineart and a link to your picture, of course (and anything else you want on there).

I'm just so surprised that This cgot so little views!!!! It's simply stunning!!!

=3... ooo.. comment muchly apreciated!!!!!!!!! n.n. if anyone were to color it, I'd want to scan this again to get a higher res pic; as this was scanned in 2002... and I wouldn't have any .psd files since I scanned this at my highschool, when I had no scanner of my own... and currently, my scanner doesn't like installing.. but I'll try again real soon; I promise, and if all goes well, I'll get you some hi-res scans for you to use.
lol... knowing me, that pic would take me hundreds of hours to fully CG. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but my best CG's aren't usually ones with the most lines.. 'cos lines = time for me Anyway... I must aknowledge your courage for wanting to attempt something like this ! o.o

I know what you mean about the time it takes to color detialed pictures. I about started crying after spending 18+ hours coloring a piece for a commission, only to find that they wanted it COLORED TOO. I was going to FLIP XD

And as far as scanners go, I understand totally... Because the scanner I have is out of commission... for a while... I draw all these really cool pictures by hand, and I'm like really motivated to color them, buti end up losing that flare of excitement because I have to wait until I can go to the library (usually a few days simply because I'm still a student lacking a car TT_____TT)

But yes, if you have the time to get a higher res. scan, please- I would LOVE it!!! I've already tarted part of the dress- and it's taking- delightfully- forever. Amidst all my other projects and my personal life- it's coming along steadily, but slowly so ^_^

^^ sorry for the absence. I've just started my marathon now of clearing up my message centre; but next time I have a break I'll have a go at installing the scanner.

nah, I'm not going to CG it. I think its a bit too complex for me atm to make a CG from. Considering my feature pic's original pencil drawing took me 6 hours, and this 40, it would seriously take me hundreds of hours to pull off... but damn, it would look great CG's wouldn't it ?? XD

I use a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil. that drawing is originally A3 size (twice the size of your average letter/document size, if you don't know)
so thats why the pencil looks incredibly tiny, cos its a huge drawing.

o_o; oh mi gosh.... 40 hours? wow...i can barely make it threw an hour of drawing one picture before i get frustrated. The detail is awesome. are you going to cg it?
