Description
This lineart was made a while ago for a collab which wasn't completed. since I liked the lineart so much I decided to clean it up and draw clothes on her.the reference clothing was 'standing up' so first I had to imagine how it would look in this pose. I think the result is accurate enough. ^o^
Has a full-view of my work EVER let you down? once again, you should see it.
Allthough the lineart doesn't leave too much possibility for a *good* background, I might make the rest in a realistic style soon... (and maybe hair? I still need to learn do do that realistically)

Well... even though I didn't ask for permission I went ahead and colored it. It's not perfect but it's the best I could do.

Damn, that looks really great, a bit of ecchi doesn't hurt either. How did you go about doing the lineart? It's so nice and smooth.

Reading the current comments would have given you an answer, but I'll say again anyways.
The lineart of my character was hand-drawn with a tablet, and it was cleaned up with a few hours of work to smooth it out. Later, the clothes were drawn using the Freeform Pen Tool in Photoshop CS2 to make paths, then the paths were stroked. so basically, it was vectored - as was the wings. All of my lineart used to be drawn by hand with the same degree of accuracy, it just took a crapload longer to look nice, hehe.

Interesting! I just got a tablet and it's taking a while to get my hand steady to get some nice strokes out. Guess it's just practise.

Oooh~ my tablet is a first-generation.. lol.. I'm sure new tablets are much better all-round. heck, I can't even change the nib! and it's been blunt for well over a year! XD best of luck!

XD but it goes to show again that the tablet is just a tool, it's the hand behind it that brings out the great art, but a nicer tablet also helps

Realistic hair is actually quite easy I'm doing the same thing myself. Has alot to do with the pen tool and making the lines soft and the colors blend.
If you don't mind could I possibly have a shot at coloring your line art?

Hmm... I guess you could.. as a scrap maybe. The thing is, I want to do it myself before anyone else. but I have to design some graphics for my dad's company first so he can present more professionally to his customers, before I worry about my own stuff. so, if you can just wait a bit, that would be cool.

You did a good job with the clothes, ^.~ and it's good that she's wearing panties.
I take it you're going to color this. As I said earlier, if you have a more anime-style background it'll fix the picture pretty well.
Though, if you want to do a realistic background, this would be a good chance to do some realistic hair. The hair would just have to be like the bangs on the (your) left.
