hello all! its been a LOOONG time since I submitted anything... maybe because what you see before you has taken exactly a month. (yes, I even compared date-stamps on files to get that) and its ONLY the lineart!!!! O_O sheesh... either I'm getting lazier...or more of a perfectionist. you be the judge! XDAnyway, this is my original character Aria. I tried to make her look a bit older this time, and I have 2 new sets of wings because I thought the original set wouldn't really look that good if I made them simply bigger.
100% generated in Photoshop CS2 with tablet
And of course... a colour CG is in the works.

theres nothing that special to it. with my tablet I sketched the picture roughly (but neat enough to tell things apart) ... then I zoom in close, to 200% or 300%, and get a brush about 3px wide, and spend an eternity carefully re-drawing all the lines in black smoothing them out, then cleaning up the sides with white as the secondary colour on my brush.
Its not the fastest process in the world, but the results speak for themselves ^.^

I think its beautiful! The wings remind me of icicles! So maybe a winter like background would work? Idk, but I hope you color this! Its still beautiful as is though!

ehe.. I'm coloring it as I speak! n.n the inner wings are stone, but also considering them ice is a brilliant idea!!!!!! together with a winter themed background is another great idea too =3 thanks !!!!!!

Very very nice, except her legs look too big compared to her amrs... maybe you should make them smaller or her arms bigger? Just a suggestion, I love the wings.

Amazing picture as usual. Never mind if it takes longer, I find an artist has to take their own time before something nice can be produced. Anyway, look forward to the colouring as well.
