Description An Encaustic Art piece - not digital art, approx 8" square, done with iron & stylus. This piece is done on parchment paper backed with silver card. The symbols beneath each point of the Pentagram represent water, fire, earth, air & aether or spirit.

All of my artwork is copyright protected, use of any work whether whole or in part is against the law without my express permission. I may agree to the use of my artwork free of charge for charitable/educational purposes etc. but please contact me beforehand to discuss its use.

and-amore, Thank you, it is actually easier than you think as you are using hot wax so the effects pretty much develop themselves as you apply the wax to the surface. The lines & symbols took the longest as I had to then scrape through the cold wax to the background underneath & then apply the gold wax for the Pentagram. Once the wax cools it is textured, so drawing or scraping on top is quite a challange if you want to keep straight lines.

Loads of people think it's digital, it's just the way Encaustic seems to come out when used in this way
