Description
An Encaustic art piece bringing together all the signs of the zodiac, each glyph scribed into its own tablet with an abstract background. I used this piece as the front cover for a zodiac calender [link]All of my artwork is copyright protected, use of any work whether whole or in part is against the law without my express permission. Because of the way Encaustic is done, the abstract effects are quite easy to achieve. There is a pattern in the tools I have used & the way I have used them.

I like how distinctive the style is in this piece, in a sense. The detail is just... too intense. It's hard to believe you did this traditionally?
I like the variety of shades of colours, anyway, and how they all work together to convey the atmosphere and the mood. Even though it contains so much, I feel as if there's a certain pattern to everything, even though you may have to look into it quite hard and all.
Great portrayal of the concept.
