The quote is tricky.
It does not doubt the existence of a single Truth in itself, or that it could be one's own for that matter, but the combined belief of one's narrow-minded overconfidence in one's own perspective truth as the One and Only Absolute Truth.

I think it is the combination: the belief that there is only one truth AND one narrow-minded-ness which regard it as the One and Only Absolute Truth, is the source of evil
