lol well I actually just got mine like 3 weeks ago. You can find the original nintendo DS at game stores like Gamestop etc. for around 70-80 bucks used. If you have the gameboy advanced SP (i think that is what it was called) you can trade it in and get the new DS lite for 80 bucks otherwise it is $130-140 normally. DS lites can be found at walmart too.
I'm content with my original DS but the DS lites are much nicer and have a brighter screen and are sleeker in design among a few other perks if you can afford it.
