Shame, shame, shame on me for forgetting to add a border.
I'll have to try and add something later...if I can bring myself to cover some of the detail... Ashura (Or Asura if you wanna be picky, I'm old school damnit! I also call Cecil "See-sull" too if you must know...
), queen of summoned creatures from FFIV looking rather menacing if you ask me. I took major artistic license and pretty much just rehashed her entire design from the original. =3I have represented her as the tarot High Priestess card, here are the things that are supposed to tip you off to this:
+ Pomegranates dangling from some of Ashura's beads
+ Veil behind Ashura
+ Solar cross
+ Crescent moon
+ Black and White lotus pillars with "B" and "J" on them
+ Scroll with the word Tora on it
Far from a perfect pic *glares at the damn loin cloth* but I am satisfied at the turn out. I especially love Ashura's 3 heads myself. =3 If I weren't so burnt out after working on it all week I'd try and fix some things. X_x
Started this originally for my own amusement but I altered it in the middle of drawing it for a contest over on ~FinalFantasy-Fan which called for making Tarot cards. Twas very fun! I might have to do more... =3

The overall composition of this piece is terrific. The usage of different textures and brushes adds a sense of variation and is very unique. The background uis simple yet very beautiful, especially this particular moon, a full moon would have looked out of place but the positioning of this moon is just perfect. Also I love the positioning of the queen, I find anatomy very hard to grasp but you did a great job on this piece.
Let me jsut say the shading is amazing.The light on the columns and the skin, jsut perfect

Well the original came out on the SNES but the new one was released on the nintendo DS (I bought one just so I could get this game

lol well I actually just got mine like 3 weeks ago. You can find the original nintendo DS at game stores like Gamestop etc. for around 70-80 bucks used. If you have the gameboy advanced SP (i think that is what it was called) you can trade it in and get the new DS lite for 80 bucks otherwise it is $130-140 normally. DS lites can be found at walmart too.
I'm content with my original DS but the DS lites are much nicer and have a brighter screen and are sleeker in design among a few other perks if you can afford it.
