... When you have a two-foot-long beakI drew this back in 2012 with watercolor, colored pencil, marker, and acrylic ink, though I recently reworked it digitally to fix a few wonky bits. It was drawn for my boyfriend, who adores both herons and cooking.

I wish I had more stuff to share, but obtaining an art degree killed my enjoyment of making art and my (definitely not art-related) job has been sucking the life out of me for the past six years. I'm only recently starting to remember why I liked drawing/painting and posting art on the internet in the first place.
