Description
The Federation of Arab Republics (from now on to be referred to as “the FAR”) is a Pan-arab state which was founded in 1972 after Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and later Sudan held referendums on the matter. After the leaders of each country, respectively: Muammar Gaddafi, Anwar Sadat, Hafez al-Assad, Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr and Jaafar Nimeiry agreed on the terms of the merging of each state.

Egypt is by far the strongest state in the FAR with a population of ~35 Million people and a GDP of ~8 Billion. Libya has the second highest GDP with ~13½ Million but with a population of only ~2 Million. SUDAN has the second highest population with ~10 Million people living in it. Cairo is the biggest city in the FAR with a population of 5½ Million people living in it. It is also the capital of Egypt.
