(squeals) I have a Red Panda beanie baby, and when I first saw it, I thought it was a fox, lol. They are very rare creatures! You are so fortunate to take a picture of one!

They are so talented climber, these little cuties.
The last time I took pics of Red Pandas I was the whole time afraid, that the little girl might fall of the tree, but they are so sure and hey always know where to place their feet... although the one on your pic seems to be a little unsure about the height....

I saw a BBC tv documentary on these guys once, they look so cute and funny. Truly magical creatures, I can't wait till I get the chance to see them in real life!

You're lucky. Everytime I go to the zoo (and I go 2 or 3 times a year armed with a 300 mm lens) I try to get a picture of a red panda, and I haven't been able to get one yet. They're hiden or have been moved to a temporary place where visitors can't go...always happens something. Well, until I get my own picture I'll just add this one to my favorites gallery.

And yet another great shot. How big are Red Pandas? They look a bit like a Racoon without the mask. Can tell you were shooting at 400 ISO, some of the highlights burned out a little; not enough to hurt the pic, though.

some say he's closer related to the raccoon then the panda. I was photographing mostly in shadow and didnt had the time to change the ISO cause they keep on moving.
