The name is not a reference to the Apocalyptica song, though I know it and like it. "Ruska" is a Finnish word that refers to the time in autumn when leaves turn red. You see, I occasionally show off with my very limited knowledge of Finnish

I can not quite figure its meaning, though this picture has a great appeal. The water colours created something truely enjoyable soft and interesting there.

This is both inspiring and emotional. I love how you used the water color to make it look flowey (?) and added the hard line to balance it. It reminds me of those old japanese water color scenary paintings. My favorite has to be the color splash of blue that stands out from the rest of the drawing, its a great way to balance those warm shades and it makes your eye travel throughout the piece.

yeah, I guess the upside down face wasn't such a good idea. When I show the painting to people in real life, they always hold it upside down first. Pisses me off
