The sun comes and goes here.
The weathermen explained that this depression has been stuck here... it rains and empties the clouds, then the sun makes the groundwater evaporate (and there's a lot), then that forms clouds again which empty their rain etc. etc. for weeks.
Luckily the Acores anti-cyclone is moving north a bit and will push the depression somewhere else!
My garden is rotting! I've had mouldy peony buds.

Oh no!
I don't think we've had sunshine for more than two weeks here, I'll be very surprised if I see any tomatoes this side of October.

That's impressive.
I think all the western side of Europe got the floods.
France was very badly hit too. They even thought parts of central Paris would be flooded. Some underground stations were closed.
Germany got it and Switzerland too.
I'll put a photo of a black.green bud in Sta.sh.
Look at this.
Around ten of the buds were the same. Uggh!
Some of my everygreens are dying.
