FB is a pain but can be sometimes good for networking with like-minded people. I met a maths professor Dr on Italy on FB who began a long collaboration with me to produce fractals and l got a free visit to southern Italy to do a lecture on my fractals. So FB can be good. I'm on fractal forums but only to get info. Thanks happy to hear from you

Dear Sabine
I would have liked so much to comment your beauties, which are as "glorious" as DA you say is, but in an infinitelyΒ more pleasurable and delicious way... But I understand you are busy elsewhere, so I wish you lots of success and happiness in your undertakings...
Gilles

Dear Gilles,
Thank you for your kind words!
I am sorry I have to be so 'uncommunicative', but I just have not time enough to be here on DA...
Thank you again and all best wishes,Β
Sabine

Absolutely amazing!Β
I'm totally mesmerized by 3d fractals and I'm wondering if you're using just plain software like Fragmentarium od Mandelbulb3d to render all of that lightening and different textures...? Or are you exporting the fractals to other, more advanced software?Β
π: 0 β©: 1
Sabine62 In reply to 5353n [2019-03-25 00:27:59 +0000 UTC]
Thank you
And I am using only Mandelbulb3D and Fragmentarium, and sometimes a program called PhotoScape to sharpen a little bit and auto-adjust levels as a kind of minimal postwork.
Both Fractal programs can do So much, no PhotoShop or similar needed unless you want to venture into heavy manipulating and since I do not 3D-print or -model, I have no need for Mandelbulb3D's exporting functions either...
Please feel free to try and/or explore any parameters I post here or on fractalforums.org.
Welcome to DA

Thanks a lot!Β
What a warm welcome.. Β
Looking at some of your amazing works I was almost convinced that you export your fractals to a 3d software and do some texturing and lightening renders from there. So that's a great surprise to know you use only the basic software for all of that complexity.Β
Thanks once again for your reply.Β
Enjoy!Β

Abbastanza bene, ma non ho il tempo ancora per DA!
Ma: ho fatto la luce LLI di Jesse per Fragmentarium!Β Β Non Γ¨ il Last length increase proprio, ma Last vector increase e va molto bene con tante frattali. Se vuoi lo guardare, visitate il FF nuovo Β
E tu, come stai?

Sabine62 In reply to dark-beam [2019-01-14 17:50:00 +0000 UTC]
Ho scritto 'luce'? Sono i [i]colori[/] LLI. Last length increase (the difference between length(z0) and length(zn) in the loop taken as base for the coloring, multiplied by an input factor, at least: mb3dreadme.html says: Last length increase: Is the last increment factor of the 3d vector length multiplied by the 'Lli multiplier'. There's no more info anywhere, so I had to be creative:}Β ).
Stai bene, nipotino, cari saluti
