Description
Had to redesign a spider monster for a game. The rig/proportions had to stay the same, but I could redesign the model and details around them.I was happy doing all the specular highlights, I could paint those all day.

Concepts For These Spiders: To the left is the Bronze Bird Jumper: A very rare spider originally being seen in the Central Congo and then later, these Spiders were found in French Guyana. Approximately the size of a large poodle, these highly reclusive creatures are highly attracted to specifically the attack on and consumption of birds, basically any bird it can bite with its highly toxic relaxing poison while not particularly dangerous to humans other than to give them and highly relaxing euphoric sleep for 18-24 hours if bitten, this will allow to eat live pray which is too relaxed to stop itself from being webbed and pickled alive. In the back is the Phosphorescent Panamanian Tree Spider - Ever fond of insects and grubs, this glow in the dark spotted spider is a glow in the dark distraction which is how it attacks. Very Fast and Sharp Bite - Resulting in potential fatality if the victim has consumed any alcoholic beverage in the previous 3 days; otherwise swelling and boil like for a day or two.// Lastly on the right is the Olive Desert Spider. A sharp Olive colored Tarantula, this arachnid can both jump up to 4 feet silently in any direction it sense prey onto its prey or roll into it using its fangs and small sharp horn-like points on its back. Poison causes excessive food consumption over the following 3 days to use food in system to fight poison...Would be at Disadvantage on all rolls while under 72 hour influence of this poison.
