Grodbog Queen, Queen of the Grodbog! They wanted a type of monster insect that was semi-aquatic and had mantis claws, so this is what I came up with. I based them off of mantis shrimp, which you should google if you don't know what those are cuz they are pretty cool.Related content

Mantis shrimp = Spanish GALERAS? (the first time somebody gave me one of those for dinner, i just stared at it for half an hour before actually eat it. That seabug design is something else!)

Yeah, I always wanted a mantis shrimp. They have "hyperspectral colour vision", and can even see in ultraviolet. Pretty spiffy for a shrimp, eh? Haha, cool cool.

If by beachworms you mean sandworms (the ones with the nasty black pinchers), yes I was totally looking at those for mouth parts! I used to use them for fishing when I was younger and I remember how scared shitless i was trying to put them on hooks.
