Background = EPIC FAIL T_TSorry for the lack of recent updates - I've been continuing work on the animation preview I uploaded on DA and it's now halfway done. But it's a killer of an animation which is why it's taking so long
Anywho
I've been meaning to do this for a while - it's a dedication of sorts to the most awsome bird at college - Yoda the barn owl. My fellow college/DA buddies will know who I'm talking about. He hatched earlier this year and we had the honour of hand rearing him. He's since reached maturity and is a friendly (and awsome) as an owl can get. Soo yeah Rock On Yoda!
Pic itself took a shamefull amount of time considering it isnt that impressive - I think it was something like 5 or 6 hours in the end. It was reffed, but not heavily and I'm afraid I can't remember the link source. But anyways enjoy ^^

I like the background :/
It reminds me of an amber prarie, the grass turning softly gold as the summer rolls over.
I also love the eyes and the texture of the feather's on it's face.
