Description Some Photoshop painting practice, since I decided to work on my PS skills for the time being whilst still making work in SAI.
Although, I would say this is a massive improvement from Howl , a previous realism / painting test of mine.
If I'm honest, this was really fun! I may open up commissions for these in the future, yet keep in mind they will probably be 150+ points. Due to the amount of time and effort put into this. (Although, I wouldn't say time, considering this was made in about an hour and a half.)

Nice improvement. Although, try and put some hard details in there using a small hard round brush, and try not to use flow to much. When working on the facial disc I work with a 1px brush at 100% opacity.Β

I will try that in future, when I worked on the facial disk I used a 1px brush yet lowered the opacity. Thanks for the tips!

I noticed. Also do the same thing to the Β facial disk rim, and to try and give the eye further from the viewer more depth by curving the feathers coming ouwards from the eye.Β
