Well, I have to try colour or the curiousity will continue to nag me. I never colour the original piece if it can be avoised. I usually colour prints so I have the luxury of screwing up on an experimental colour scheme.

What color scheme are you going to use?
My guess is some mixture of yellow, orange, red, white, black.
When I saw this picture, I thought about doing my version, except it would be more Wayne Barlowe influenced and in 3d. Would make my airships more demonic looking and I would put all sorts of evil looking structures on the pillars of rock. Flying creatures would be over some of the structures.
Anyway those are my ideas.
