Description Fifth studio watercolor piece this semester. I know I skipped the fourth; I actually enjoy the piece but the scanner keeps taking chunks out of only that one for god knows what reason, so the hell with it.

I was reeeeeeally bored this day and desperately wanted to get out of class, so this one was actually painted in about thirty minutes at the very end when I finally mustered up the energy to give a crap. I got sort of experminetal with the application in places, some of which I like, some of which I don't.

i really, really like these watercolours, and i'm glad someone is doing them! there isn't enough of this sort of thing on DA.

PS i'm starting to try to experiment with watercolours, but i'm really clumsy and i always wind up treating it like the paintbucket on photoshop or like markers. i wish i could figure out how to do more traditional watercolours.

Thanks again Cami. ^_^

Watercolor is about... not really having much control over what you're doing. If you want to get over the 'apintbucket' effect, probably the best thing to do is to force yourself to work wet-into-wet for a while, so it won't even be possible to color 'in the lines.'
