Description From last semester in Illustration. The assignment: choose a book cover you think is poorly done and do a better one. I chose American Gods by Neil Gaiman... my edition's cover is extremely boring. Of course, I think ultimately I failed to improve it, but at least the -idea- was cool.

you know, with him kinda disappearing into the background a bit, he's like the guy that Shadow can't quite remember. (i've only gotten half-way through the book at this point)

Thank you. As for who it is, it's more the generalized idea of the supernatural than an individual. An old, forgotten god, fading away. The diner setting seemed appropriate to the book. I suppose, however, that if this -was- meant to represent any of the actual characters, it would be Wednesday by default.
