All animals have a unique place in our hearts, and can help us through difficult times. Pets can be furry little therapists or best friends; they don't judge you and love you forever. Don't listen to those who haven't got a close, loving relationship with an animal; they don't understand how calming a pet can be on a person, whether that person suffers from a physical or learning difficulty or from physical or mental health issues.

I really hope you have many more years of happiness with your dogs; they are special gifts and deserve to be treasured.
