Amazing lighting, did you use natural lighting? Its really hard to get a photo of a pet. Overall its an amazing photo. I can feel calmness when I look at it. I love the clarity of it as well. Is there any filter being used? I really enjoy it. Like I said before it is hard to capture moments like this with pets...I had a hard time when my Dog Benji was alive still. He would always move and frustrate me haha! Anyway...I love this photo. Its jut AMAZING! Also what breed is he or she? Just a beautiful dog and a gifted owner.

This is an all-round beautiful photograph. Of course, there isn't much you can do with a sleeping sight-hound in the way of positioning!
I think you really managed to capture it 'in the moment' - at the right place at the right time. I shouldn't be writing a critique for this, it is fantastic, however, if it was possible you COULD have tried to add a little bit more lighting in the background, however, it is fabulous as it is. In fact, all of your photography is.
I hope I helped you for future photography, as this is my first 'critique' on a photo.
