This one has been made for someone already and is going to be sold but it is still a beautiful piece. those are abalone shells which i collected when our family went on a trip to Europe. actually collected off the coast of France, near Cannes (i cant remember the name of the two islands but they are just outside Golfe Juan) and i hand polished these shells like five times each. those are just regular white pearls and i believe i used a black pearl for the third. that is a 18k gold pendant bail and a sterling silver chain with a stick and ring clasp. i think it kinda looks like the Sydney Opera House.

hi did you have to do any other kida cleaning to the shell. i have some abalone shell too, but heard i had to clean the a pool acid, is that so!!

um i just used a handheld dremel tool, use a metal bristle gently at first then use the felt disk to finish

what i meant was, i was told to use a type of pool cleaner(acid) to clean ab shells. and that, to breath the dust of the shell could kil you. i hope you knew this!

oh. mostly the cleaning was done on the non shiny side to get rid of worm tubes off the back but yeah i know that shells are a neurotoxin. i used a face mask. but most of the polishing was done by the felt. i dont know about pool cleaner, i like to stay away from chemicals

this one is different but has more detail. shows what the shell looks like up close

it's very pretty, the bail sort of bothers me though, the pendant's so pretty w/all these delicate whites and iridescent tones and the chain and clasp is silver but the bail's a gold tone, it just seems out of place among all the silvers and whites

ah yeah i would have changed the bail bit someone wanted it to be gold so the customer is always right
