Description
Sanga strolled through the corridors of her palace, on her way to a briefing with her generals to discuss the Empire's next move on what to do about the Gepsi threat. They were trying new tactics lately, keeping everyone in Phenat on their toes.

Leaping down from the cieling, a shadow swooped in front of her path! A hooded Gepsi assailant! Reaching into his cloak, he withdrew...a cupcake. With pink frosting, a cherry, and a delicatable river bass tail mixed in the cake portion.

"Geesie ba toodu, jisp!" The Gespi exclaimed in his native tongue and raspy, skeletal voice. "Submit to defeat, wretch!

Sanga stood unmoved by his posturing.

"Keepsi ta nawk quaw Phenatu! Risii klee ssip soquutoo! Behot! Vespit tsii kupecakii mawq!"
"Queen of the Phenatian desert! Your tyranny is at an end! Behold! The holy cupcake of justice!"

The feline queen barred a single fang, raising a brow.

"Kupecakii ssip bastu nu pooti geesie! Nee isi kupecakii gistess, Phenatu soquti, isi geese nee tooduka! Heheheheheh!"
This cupcake is mixed with a deadly poison! And when you eat this cupcake, Tyrant of Phenat, you will fall down and be dead! Sinister laughter!

Sanga scoffed, unimpressed.

After he had finished chuckling, the gepsi held the cupcake before the desert queen's mouth.

"Seeti, ikati jisp, isi gististi kupecakii nee toodu!"
"Now icaith fool, you will eat the cupcake and die!"

Sanga walked past the poor assassin.

"Come back with a better plan," she told him. "You don't deserve to be executed. You make me look like I'm challenging a brigade of morons."

The gepsi stood shocked, turning his head in Sanga's direction. He turned to a Nahaki guard who had watched the whole charade from a short distance. The canine Nahaki smiled sagely and showed him the door.

So this is something a little unusual, but I loved the idea! A funny Sanga bit with an embarrassingly incompetent Gepsi assassin. (I'm tempted to make him a reoccurring character actually. ^^ )

This was one of the first illustrations requested per one of my patrons!
