Description I've been dabbling in 3D modeling for a while, though I've never had much to show for it. Now that I'm actually taking courses for it, I figured I might as well show off some of my better classwork on here xD

Our assignment here was to create a mechanical animal--I tried my hand at making a slightly steampunk-ish wyvern, with a message canister built into its chest. He's got almost 7k polygons, and I probably could have done the same with less, but this was the one project without a poly count so we were allowed to go a little nuts. He's not textured, but he is pivot-rigged (no skeleton) and could feasibly be animated, or at least posed as you see here. Sorry for the yellow highlight in the first two pictures, my cursor must have accidentally brushed over the wing plane and highlighted it.

Looks really good, cant wait to see it textured

My only critique would be that you appear to have some bent polygons on the neck/chest ring piece there.

I don't know if I'll be texturing this one, but other uploads in the future will probably have textures! And yeah, edge flow is still something I'm trying work on xDĀ

The best thing about 3d models is that even untextured they can be quite useful for other stuff. For example I've made some 3d models of stuff I can't ever draw, like dragon wings, which I keep around to pose and then trace over
