Description Here are some South Wildland creatures I designed for my Zelda series.

Aeroma*Thanks ~tinyblonde11 for the name ^3^*: This giant bird is rare, and very few have seen it. It's an endangered species that used to fly the skies of ancient Termina, it's said some people who lived their lives on the mountains used them for air transportation. They were driven to the South over the years, and their numbers decreased with generations. (These guy's are Termina's Loftwings)

Fairnit: These tiny rabbit-mouse like creatures are very small and feed on herbs and berries. The largest found was only a foot tall. They used to be all over the Southern Swamp in days of old, but they were slowly driven into the Wildlands over the years. They're usually present in the same places as Fairies, and mostly choose to live in peaceful places.

*this is a long one* Dire Wolfos: The current generation of Wolfos are feared beasts with terrible tempers and mad killer instincts and will feed on anything, but the Dire Wolfos are the ones who used to hold the high-rank of feared beast. They're extremely intelligent and are very large. They often only have to bite once to kill, using bone-crushing jaws to snap down on their prey's neck. They usually would only go after livestock and deer, but never fed on Humans, Terminians, or even their fellow neighboring Deku Scrubs *as they lived in the forests as well* and only time they'd harm them is if the Dire Wolfos was harmed first. They were more afraid of the Humans and Terminians then others thought. But they were all killed off, and only few remain in the deepest and most dangerous places in the South's Wildlands. They have hand-like paws that are used mostly for gripping things and climbing, as well as holding prey down. Comparing Dire Wolfos to current Wolfos: Dire Wolfos are extremely gentle and loving creatures, and understand family as well as other civilized races, and they ONLY hunt to survive. While current Wolfos have practically no intelligence in comparison. It's believed that they kill whatever they see on sight, due to their rough past with Humans and Terminians, and only think of other creatures and races as the killers, rather than themselves.

Dekydra: his creature only lives on instinct. Nothing more, nothing less. They have no eyes, but use their noses instead. They're actually of the Dragon family, but strangely enough, are ALSO in relation to the Deku Species. Over time, the one's closer to Termina Field and the ever-growing Deku Village evolved into Deku Baba's. But Dekydras still remain in the Wildlands, and are very vicious. They live in packs, and settle themselves into the ground, with their heads sticking out. At first, they look like giant plants with large pink buds, but get to close, and those 'buds' bloom into terrifying meat eaters! Another scary thing about these guys: Cut one head off, and two more grow back! If you try an kill it, kill it by the heart!

Southern Swamp Deer: Simple as that- They're deer. They're quite unique bodies make them look a little odd, however. Males are the most beautiful, with their unusual antlers and mane's. They still remain in the Southern Swamp, but most of them live in the Wildlands. You can see what males look like here [link]

I'm crazy about anything with wings X3 so you can guess birds are right up there with my favorite animals. Giant one's are awesome!

Gah! I just have to ask! How tall is this bird exactly?

Well, it's big enough to ride ^^ they're used for air transportation by a tribe of people in one of my stories later, so they're pretty large. And if my measuring is correct, their wing span would probably reach to at least 8 and half feet, maybe 9 feet.

I see, I see

Though for a bird big enough to ride, I think that might be a bit really tiny... A bird big enough to ride may (and should) have a wingspan of as much as 25 feet! From what you said, their wingspan might be less then their height...

Which brings me to height... how tall is this bird? Since it looks taller then it is long, much like a crane...

Hope you understand!
And regardless, I will always love them <3

I wish I could ride on one ;n;

Ah, that does make a lot of sense my measure was WAY off. Considering most of my characters are very small, though, it doesn't take very big animals to seem big enough for them to ride lol (almost all of my character's are around at least 3 or 4 feet tall, like my Deku, who- at adulthood- are only about 3 and a half ft tall. And my Sonic OC's are of naturally small heights as well lol) I'm afraid I'm having some trouble figuring out the exact height... ^_^;; Hold on a sec, I'm about to post a colored picture of the bird, I'll draw a height reference next to it ^^

For me it's more strictly birds, and in that case, yes they're freaking awesome! :D

If it's really REALLY freaking epic, I'd make an exception and like it though

Amazing that requires alot more imaginational structure than most artists possess

By the way, I love these creatures, and their character bios are nicely thought out!

Yep! You have just cemented in my mind that you are the artist I wish to become!
